A table tent is a small self-standing two-sided card that sits on the table alongside the main menu. Aveera Design Solutions designs and prints table tents in A5 and DL, as folded self-standing cards or as inserts for acrylic holders. They carry offers, specials, drinks and QR codes, and are designed to be replaced often.
A second surface, doing a different job
A main menu has to be comprehensive, which makes it a poor place to shout. A table tent has exactly one job and can be completely single-minded about it — one offer, one new drink, one QR code. It is already in front of a seated guest with nothing to do, which is the best advertising position in the room.
Because it holds the things that change, it should be built to be thrown away. Short-run print on light stock, cheap enough that swapping it weekly does not require a discussion. Printing table tents on the same premium stock as the menu is a common and expensive mistake — it makes changing the offer feel wasteful, so venues stop changing it.
Folded card or acrylic holder
A folded self-standing card is cheaper and needs nothing else, but it takes up table space and falls over when knocked. An acrylic holder is bought once and holds a flat printed insert — steadier, cleaner, and the insert costs almost nothing to reprint. For anything you intend to change regularly, the holder pays back quickly.
