Restaurant branding

One identity, applied properly across every surface a customer actually touches.

Aveera Design Solutions builds brand identity systems for restaurants, cafés, bars, hotels, dessert shops and food brands. A project covers logo and identity, menu design, packaging, signage, table collateral, social templates and brand guidelines. We design from Pune, India, produce printed items in-house, and work with clients across India and internationally.

The approach

A logo is not a brand. The menu, the box and the standee are the brand.

Customers almost never see a restaurant's logo on its own. They see it on a menu they are holding, on a takeaway box on their desk, on an A-frame on the pavement, and in a photograph someone else posted. That is where an identity either holds together or falls apart.

So we build the system by working outward from the pieces that get used most, rather than designing a mark in isolation and applying it afterwards. The menu is usually first, because it is the piece with the most content, the most constraints and the most chances to go wrong — if the identity survives a menu, it will survive a business card.

What a system covers

The pieces we design

02

Menu system

The card itself plus the rules that let you add a seasonal or drinks menu later without it looking bolted on.

03

Packaging

Boxes, cartons, cups, bags and sleeves — designed for the print process that will actually produce them.

04

Signage

Fascia, window, wayfinding and A-frames, taken to fabrication-ready artwork.

05

Table collateral

Table tents, QR holders, offer cards, bill folders and coasters.

06

Social & campaign

Post and story templates, offer creative and campaign artwork that match the printed pieces.

Case study

Bun Cart

A counter brand where menu, packaging, standee, poster and social creative were built as a single system — and where the offer had to read identically whether a customer saw it on the pavement, at the counter or on their phone.

FAQ

Quick answers

What does a restaurant branding project include?

It depends where you are starting. A new venue usually needs logo, colour and type system, menu, signage and packaging. An existing venue more often needs the identity tightened and applied consistently across the pieces it already has. We scope it against what you actually need rather than selling a fixed bundle.

Can you do branding without the menu?

Yes, though it is unusual and we will say so. For a food business the menu is the piece the identity gets judged on most often, so leaving it out of the system tends to mean redoing it later.

Do you produce the signage as well as design it?

We design signage and take it through to fabrication-ready artwork, and we produce printed collateral, standees and packaging in-house. Fabricated three-dimensional signage is produced with specialist partners to our specification.

Do we get brand guidelines?

Yes, scaled to the project. For a single café that is a short document covering logo usage, colour values, type and spacing. For a multi-outlet brand it extends to menu templates, packaging artwork and social layouts so anyone applying the brand later stays inside it.

Tell us what you already have

Whether that is nothing yet, or a logo you like sitting on pieces that do not match. We will tell you what is worth keeping.
